Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT)~Room 129c

Hello! I started my teaching career in 1983, as a preschool teacher in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after graduating from Augustana College. After moving to the Twin Cities area, I was a substitute teacher for one year and then taught at several different schools in the grades 1st, 2nd and 5th. I received my Masters of Education in Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities from the University of Minnesota in 1990. Pillsbury has been my home school for a number of years. I love Pillsbury's diverse community and I work with an amazing group of teachers and staff! When I am not teaching, I like to spend time outdoors watching sports, traveling, camping, boating, gardening and taking photopgraphs of nature. I also LOVE to cook, read and sing. I live with my husband and daughter. My husband is a computer engineer and my daughter is a college student.
